I haven’t had the opportunity to talk with my mother now for many years since she died over twenty years ago. What I miss the most is her words of wisdom as it applied to child rearing and caring for an extended family. I often remember our conversations about children and as I had my own, I often turned to her for her words of advice including how to stop my own children from acting out when they visited other children. I know as children we were always on our best behaviour and this behaviour was good enough that we were always welcome to go anywhere with them kids or no kids around.
