Breastfeeding infants and new born babies should never be ceased short of six months keeping the good health of infants in mind.

Breastfeeding can owe a child good health only if the feeder is known to be free from infections due to HIV or tuberculosis and is not under the prescription of any drugs. The death tolls of the infants are rising in developing and developed countries due to resorting to artificial feeding of the infants.
