Three names come to mind when I think about the best of the best in kitchen knives.  Shun, Wusthof, and Global are the Top Kitchen Knife Sets in my opinion.  I am an amateur chef and I own many sets of knives.  It’s actually kind of a hobby for me.  The above mentioned three sets work the best, and offer the consumer the most bang for their buck.  Yes, there are some sets out there that may be better in some ways than the ones I mentioned but I am taking into consideration, price and warranty specifics here.  With these factors in mind, you can’t do better that Shun, Wusthof and Global.
