Martha was lying on the couch, eyes closed. She had just finished washing the dishes, cleaning the toilet, and weeding out the plants in her garden. She was glad to finally have this time to rest quietly, maybe even take a short nap. Suddenly the doorbell rang. Martha grumbled and when the doorbell rang again she stood up and answered the door. Standing in front of her was a gentleman who introduced himself as Gabriel. Gabriel was an old man selling all kinds of second hand items, mostly used kitchenware and household products. Martha didn’t want to buy anything but she knew that Gabriel would never go away until he had convinced her to buy something so she ended up picking out two Used Espresso Machines that were still in very good condition. She would keep one and give the other to her dad who loves coffee. Martha paid for the items and Gabriel proceeded next door.
