It is unfortunate that some people do not realize they have options when they are facing financial difficulties. My brother filed for bankruptcy 16 months ago because his finances were out of controlled. He did not want anyone to find out what was going on, and he thought bankruptcy was the only alternative. Today, he is in a better financial position, and he has started a new automobile service center. His new wife financed the service center, and they now want to expand the business. However, his credit report is showing the bankruptcy information and no creditor is willing to help. He wished he had used a Debt consolidation program.
