My mother and father are the greatest.  They managed to throw a surprise party for my sixteenth birthday that was absolutely incredible.  All my friends knew about the party, but never let on to me about it.  The party was held at the penthouse of a New York high rise building.  There was a formal dinner that everybody enjoyed and a live band for dancing.  This sweet 16 NY party was planned by the best party planners there are.  I don’t think any of my friends will be able to top this party.  I wish I was turning sixteen again next year.

Whenever I take my kids to their weekly lessons, I can never resist the urge to drop in the craft shop that is right next door. I tend to be a bit ADD when it comes to crafting and am always trying new things. Obviously, they pretty much salivate every time I walk in, wondering what I’m gonna try next. Last time I was there, they had a brand new book binding machine. It lets you compile your own content and do all the book binding at home. The spiral binding has been been pretty easily accomplished, but this machine actually allows to hard bound your books. It’s definitely on my list.

I took a tour of each one, and I selected one that had a large playground and a computer center. The kids started there last week, and we are all happy with the care they are receiving.

I just adopted three dogs from the shelter. I thought I had made really good choices about which ones to bring home and rescue, but after a while I realized that I had picked two good dogs and one bad dog. The bad dog incessantly pulls on his leash and fights and struggles every time I try and reel him back in. I’ve researched how to solve a dog pulling on leash issue but as of right now I haven’t really found any answers that have worked for me. My sister suggested a few techniques but none of them worked at all.
