Figuring Out Qualified Expenses in My Section 105 Plan
April 23rd, 2009 . by adminEven though my Section 105 plan covers many qualified medical expenses, it was not immediately clear to me at first what was and was not considered a qualified medical expense. I had to do some checking and reading through the literature that was provided. There are limitations to what you can be reimbursed for – one thing is the payment of any premium for an insurance policy. My plan covers me for that portion of, let us say, the doctor’s visit which the insurance does not cover. I still have to pay for the visit, that I get reimbursed for whatever percentage insurance doesn’t cover.
